Rumi
Rumi started playing Cello at 6 years old at the Music School - Dobrin Petkov, Plovdiv. Rumi has previously won National and International competitions over the years, always winning first ore special awards. She has participated in multiple Master classes with different Cello professors from around the world. In 2014 she earned a place as a Cellist in Classic FM Orchestra, Sofia and after this she played first Cello in Chamber Orchestra, Orpheus Pernic, Bulgaria. In 2026 she received a scholarship to study in Valencia, Spain and after this joined Symphony Orchestra Eutherpe. Rumi has played in Bulgaria, Turkey, Greece, France, Italy, Czech Republic, Spain, and UAE. She has been based in Abu Dhabi since 2018 and has performed at various locations around the Emirates. Rumi now performs as a Freelance Cellist on Corporate Events, Weddings, Concerts and Festivals and Hotels and plays a variety of music genres, such as; Classical, Pop, Arabic, Lounge and Jazz.
