Originating from Tanzania, The Hakuna Matata Acrobats are a remarkable fusion of strength, grace, and breathtaking precision. Known for their gravity-defying balances, superhuman handstands, and expertly choreographed routines, they have captivated audiences across the globe with their powerful artistry and unforgettable stage presence. Each performance is a masterclass in athleticism and coordination, making them a standout in any show or event. With their dynamic energy and crowd-pleasing charisma, The Hakuna Matata Acrobats consistently leave a lasting impression. In 2024, they rose to international fame as finalists on Season 19 of America’s Got Talent, finishing in 6th place and making history as the first act to receive a live Golden Buzzer from Sofia Vergara. That same year, they wowed audiences across Europe, receiving the Golden Buzzer and finishing 4th overall on Tu Si Que Vales in Italy, and earning a place in the finals of France’s Got Talent, where they became the first acrobatic act to ever receive the Platinum Buzzer. Their momentum continued into 2025 with a Gold Medal win at the prestigious Cirque de Demain International Circus Festival in Paris, where they also received the highly coveted Moulin Rouge Prize. They are currently competing on Romania’s Got Talent, having already secured a Golden Buzzer as the competition continues.
